Austral Kung Fu is a school dedicated to Traditional Kung Fu in Argentina, offering training in the styles of Choy Li Fut, Tai Chi Quan, Tai Chi Cao, and Xing Yi. The school maintains a direct lineage that comes from Grand Master Chan Kowk Wai, one of the most influential figures in traditional Kung Fu, with its headquarters in São Paulo, Brazil, at the Chinese-Brazilian Academy of Kung Fu.

This lineage is passed on in Argentina by Professor Horacio Di Renzo, a disciple of Master Chan since 1990, and continues prominently through Sifu Aníbal Tanus, the most experienced representative in the country for the Choy Li Fut style. Austral Kung Fu is comprised of direct students of Sifu Tanus, committed to preserving and spreading these traditional Chinese teachings in their utmost authenticity.

Mission

Our mission at Austral Kung Fu is to train practitioners committed to traditional Kung Fu, cultivating both martial skill and the inner wisdom that this discipline promotes. Inspired by the teachings and guidance of our Sifu Aníbal Tanus, we aim to develop in each student the harmony between body, mind, and spirit through every discipline we cultivate in our school. With respect for the Non-Initiation of Violence Principle, we promote a responsible practice that turns Kung Fu into a path for personal growth and balance with the environment.

To be an open space where the disciplines of Kung Fu are preserved and faithfully transmitted, creating a community of practitioners who integrate discipline and respect, along with a deep understanding of the elements and their own nature.
